ohp will become a problem because, a- i am weak, but also b- since i have no rack i have to clean the bar off the floor. not really a bother until i finish the press, because them i have to, er, unclean and lower the bar gently back to the floor. i don't have bumpers and i can not drop the bar. it's an odd motion, this un-cleaning.

My personal view is that in these strange times one might be forgiven for crafting something out of 4x4's. Just don't tell Rip.

4x4's are very strong vertically....just use strong mounting and load attachments.

i lack both the talent and space at the moment for any such attempt. lol if i tried to build something it would really be awful
two days of rest before my deads helped. last set at 320 was a little tough but it went. sgdl the grip is getting tough at this weight, tried the straps for a couple reps but they hit my wrists at an odd angle. onward and upward

i've noticed that on ohp my right hamstring really bothers me, could it be sciatica or some such? i don't need any excuse to stop doing them lol

sciatica can definitely give some funky leg pains.

yeah, that's what i'm thinking. i'll keep doing light presses but it looks like i may have a very small window for gains, as i will probably have surgery in mid jan that will knock me out for a while, so i'm going to concentrate on my deads...what else is new hehehe
damn the garage (and thus the bar) was cold this morning. and damn it was nice to get a couple reps done at 365...haven't done that since, oh, probably early February*
*just looked, it was actually early January. geesh.
