Maybe less warm-ups to your top set?

I've dropped my warm-up rep scheme dramatically, and it's made the top sets and down sets a whole lot better.

probably not a bad idea. when I'm going for heavy singles I do reduce the warm-ups drastically; for normal pedestrian work sessions I feel that I should work the whole way, daggum it. NDTP and all that lol

    ohp 104 3x4
    sq 104 3x8
    dl 135 1x5, 225 1x5, 275 1x1, 315 1x1, 370 1x1

felt ok, and i was actually mentally strong on the 370 so it went up fairly easily

don't know what's wrong with me lol

Mr. B, you're approaching "rock star" status when you pull like that!

lol that will take hours! yes, I'm pretty happy, I'm within 15 lbs of what I pulled right before my surgery in January, and within 20 of my PR (I think I've pulled 390 or so but can't find it in the 400 pages of my babbling...)

brother I am so desperate to pull 405, the only reason I think I haven't done it yet is weakness between the ears. Working on that! Maybe I should just say fuck it and load 415 on the bar!
