it's been a week since my last gym visit, a week spent moving Daughter back to school for the last time - woohoo! So while I did get some Dorm Refrigerator Dead Lift Reps in over the weekend all the oysters I ate at the Island Creek Oyster Bar, along with the couple of drinks after work before I went to the gym today, led me to feeling rather...dodgy. All in all went well though. The work set at 235 was a bit of a struggle but that's not a surprise. For shits and giggles I threw in 1 rep at 285, which I've never done before, because I wanted to not be surprised by the weight when I try to do a full set; not sure if that's a sound strategy but wtf. OHP were touh but I did get 1 rep at 115, which is a first I think. Not the worst of workouts.
