Perhaps, but in my own experience, high reps at that percentage has not correlated to heavier weights at lower reps. If I was to work with 80 - 85% and increase reps from say 5 - 8 or 90% and increase reps from 3 - 6, I can expect to increase my maximal weights.
I haven't commented on your log in awhile although I have been following it.
So kudos on the hard work. I love the high volume work.
is your plan to stick with 5 x 10's and increase the weight for a time?
That 10x5 sounds like a "man the fuck up and squat" effort. That sort of thing always pays off. Good work.
Tues 10/13/15
SQ 45 1x5, 135 1x5, 185 1x5, 205 5x10
OHP 65 1x10, 85 1x10
DL 135 1x5, 225 1x5, 275 1x3, 225 1x10
not going to be able to get to the gym again until sunday, so i figured i could beat the dog snot out of myself and have many days to recover. sq felt good, but man were the last couple on the last 2 sets tough. i was so pooped that there was nothing i could do on the ohp (not that there's ever much lol). the deads were neat, 225 felt heavyish on the way up but day-um did it feel light after 275 and I slammed out the 10 amazingly quickly. all in all a good tiring workout.
10'sx5 - Holy dooley Batman. You wearing a hairshirt while you do those?
Bingley, that's insane. With that amount of penance, almost any sin will be forgiven.
