    not going to be able to get to the gym again until sunday, so i figured i could beat the dog snot out of myself and have many days to recover. sq felt good, but man were the last couple on the last 2 sets tough. i was so pooped that there was nothing i could do on the ohp (not that there's ever much lol). the deads were neat, 225 felt heavyish on the way up but day-um did it feel light after 275 and I slammed out the 10 amazingly quickly. all in all a good tiring workout.
    Keep on doing 5x10 squats and your butt is going to look like this:

    been a loong long week of eating out and drinking til the wee hours of the morning with clients so i knew today would not be pretty and it didn't disappoint. as clients havent left town yet tuesday will be a wash, so we'll have to make do until thurs and hopefully get back in some semblance of a pattern.

    yeah, i was annoyed at only doing 2 at 285 so i wanted to grind out some 235s. got 18 off before i pooped out.

    Good work man. There's a disturbing trend towards 8's and up being done by the bunch of loggers I follow here. Time for Starting Strength: High Rep Heresy Edition (when 5's just aren't painful enough).

    oh my GOD it was nice to finally have a squat set go well again. the 265s werent easy but sombitch they got done. maybe those sets of 50 helped, maybe it was something else, who knows but yee-haw. The ohp were useless as always, and on the last rep at 105 i failed miserably because it required a grind and as my name isnt peez or cmynhier that shit ain't happening on a press.
    the squat was a mix of happy and frustrating because i had it about 6 inches off the floor and i just knew i could get that bitch up but then my left hand failed; i will not use the hook grip i will not. soon you will be mine, oh yes, you will.
