didnt sleep very well last night, as the house is surrounded by trees and we had an extended period of high winds overnight through today with 65mph gusts and i am totally paranoid about one of the trees crashing into the house; we're going to spend a ton of money to get them taken down this spring. so that's my excuse for a blah session and i'm sticking to it. sq were okay, creeping up 5lbs per session, nice that the backoff at 225 is starting to feel light again. deads were totally blah city, heart wasn't in it at all. decided to try some benches again, first couple reps at 135 went up easily enough but them i mentally bailed there too. lol, i am useless today
Yeah you're really up against it when nature itself turns against you. Just reframe it as an RPE trial.

squats felt ok but grindy, to the point where on my second set a young whipper snapper appeared to spot for me, definitely not requested and not needed lol oh well i guess he wasn't used to seeing a balding guy his dad's age grind out 15 squats. Damn punk, get off my lawn!
