    K 40 1x15, 45 1x20

    man, did 2 weeks sitting on my tuchus take its toll. 225 felt like 325. damn. oh well, back to the 5 libbes per workout rebuild. grip was weak on the deads, dumb bells felt heavy. damn damn damn. thank god my Bride convinced me to open a 1.5l bottle of wine with dinner life is now officially Better™

    Arggg! Sucks taking an illness break eh? I feel your pain. It's probably around the lung/trachea area. Lucky that you won't have lost much real strength, and it'll come rushing back real quick.

    well so the reset begins again, creeping back up. sq were ok, deads were ok but the grip still isn't back up to snuff. 275 flew up, 315 wasn't too bad. then i just did some of the various machines around the gym.

    fuck this sucks. my lower ribs on both sides feel like i been kicked by a donkey. it hurts a lot to go to depth on the sq. it's been well over a month and it still is sore. shit.

    Don't beat yourself up B. You've had a patchy time with the bronchitis and whatnot - you think maybe that's interfered with/slowed your rib injury recovery?

    As an aside - over here 'bingle' is slang for a car crash. Just leaving that there ....

    yeah, i'm sure you're right jan, it's just frustrating at the moment. i need to think of something i can do at the gym that won't bug the ribs...maybe start with light bench pressing and see what happens
