The press is an absolute bitch, at least for me anyway. Good work on sticking with it.

It's a nice amber one with a fuller, less smoky flavor than your Pitu or 51. Hey, it's called "magnifica" so it must be special, right? A friend brought it up for me from Brazil last year. Makes a nice caipirinha.
thurs 4/16/15 med day
SQ 205 3x5
DBP 90 3x10
Aussie chins 2x8
trying to keep focused on the hip drive on the sq, but happy that a lot of the Elvis has gone on my knees. Forgot what weight I did last week on the DBPs which explains why the 90 set felt pretty easy. Looks like I'll be planting a bunch of azaleas on Saturday so planning on being mighty sore for Sunday's heavy day...ah life.
sun 4/19/15 hvy day
SQ 235 1x5
BP 125 1x5
DL 195 1x5, 245 fail
Well spent a long day yesterday planting shrubs and throwing around bags of mulch so the tank was completely empty. I wasn't really sore but just drained. Struggled through a set at 235 on the sq and when I took it off the rack for the second set I just knew it wasn't there. same thing on the BP and while it was the first time i'd done anything at 125 the 4th and 5th reps were all over the place and I almost didn't get it racked after the 5th one, so bagged that.
when i tried to dl 245 it just wouldn't even budge lol. well, i guess that progress will slow considerably now that I've got a ton of yardwork to do. that's life.
Hey! You didn't tell me you'd started a log! But now I've found it anyway! So...I'm watching you!
Nice pulls and squats!
Thanks Bill! Great to see your numbers getting back up too!
I'm sure that good Costco Columbian I swill every day (that you recommended) is helping, too!
