I like to remind myself that after easy comes hard, and after hard inevitably comes failure. Helps me enjoy the easy and be more patient.

    Tues 3/17/15 light day
    SQ 175 3x5
    OHP 95 1x4, 85 2x5
    Pends 95 3x5

this cold and lack of mental motivation made the OHP a chore and I just couldn't even be bothered to try any chin ups. SQ felt fine, Pends were fine.

It's light day! It's about rest, right? Just have an extra adult beverage and enjoy it - there's more work ahead! Good work on the press BTW!

    Sun 3/22/15 hvy day
    SQ 215 x1
    BP 115 1x5

woke up with a little twinge in the lower back, during the SQ warmup ups at 135 and 185 felt it little bit and really felt it coming out of the hole on the first rep at 215 so I just stopped then and there. BP was a little noodly but ground out one set then just called it a day, a very frustrating day. will take it very easy the next week or so and hopefully it will right itself.

    Tues 3/24/15 light day
    SQ 185 3x5
    OHP 85 1x5

got my BestBelt last night so I was excited to give it a try, especially after the mess that was Sunday. 185 felt fine, no twinge in the back under weight but kept the workout relatively short because I'm still a-scared of the back. But very very pleased with how the belt felt and the support.

oh well, the perils of a public gym. Squat racks were occupied the entire time I was able to be at gym, was able to get in a set of 90 3x10 DBP and 75 3x5 Pend rows but not much else really, which is probably for the best as the back is still a touch touchy and I really hope to be able to go heavy again on Sunday.
