    DL 135 1x5, 225 1x5, 275 3x5, 295 1x3
    OHP 65 1x10, 95 1x5
    SQ 65 1x5, 135 1x5, 225 1x5, 245 3x5
    Krocs 35 1x10, 45 1x20

well after a week off to rest up my body is still just as sore, and my damn right thumb is still useless. oh well. had to start with the deads as both squat racks were tied up for a long time. grip was a bit weaker than I would have liked but otherwise ok; 275 felt lighter than 225 but i suppose that was a factor of warming up. wrist hurt on the OHP so I didn't need much encouragement to bail on them. 245 felt easy enough on the sq as it should. krocs were tiring at the end of it all. will try and sneak another workout in on tuesday.

It sucks when you don't have access to the power rack or squat rack.

As much as I don't like early am training, the benefit is access to power rack.

true, no doubt, but since I catch a 4:40 bus into the city my mornings are sort of spoken for

man man man was it a craptastic commute, 2 hours in stop-n-go traffic on the turnpike and parkway crammed into a crappy bus seat. rain+christmas = shitshow. i didn't even warm up any because i was in such a pissy mood that when i saw the squat rack open when i got there i just took it. sq were a bit more of a chore than i would have liked, and as usual 225 and 245 were harder than the 3rd set at 265. deads felt ok for the most part, i did 1 rep at 275 in my shoes and the second rep in my socks; it did feel a little easier, so i did the 295 in socks too. grip failed at 315 otherwise it would have gone up, and i was too annoyed to try it again alternate as i found myself unable to resist the Siren Call of the 16oz curl workout awaiting me at home.

got to go to the gym with a friend from out of state who does a lot of warmup sets but glad he was there otherwise I'm sure I would have only done 255 or so as a work set.

Sometimes a training partner will get you motivated, as long as it is the right person. Wish you a Happy New Year and hope the weather stays warm I don't need the snow.
