well what a bummer. my gym has been getting a little run down of late and i was getting somewhat afeared of their survival. walked in tonight and they were hauling stuff out, place is closing tomorrow. had to scramble to collect enough weight to do my lifts. sheet. don't know where i'm going to lift now, pretty much all the other places around here are the machines and crossfit types, places that frown upon my kind of iron.

Sorry to hear that your gym is closing. A home gym is out of the question?

Look on the bright side: now you have incentive to clean out the garage.

Tell Lamont to fire up the truck, and start hauling stuff off.

Is there a Retro Fitness nearby? They're the best globo for our kind of work here in Jersey.

That sucks. Maybe they're just moving?

My gym isn't exactly made for actual lifting but we still manage and the owner hasn't complained yet. Maybe other gyms in your area are more amenable than you think. You could come to an agreement with them.

no, they sadly most definitely went belly up; a lot of the machines/rowers disappeared overnight, and as i was lifting using the few weights that were left a creditor walked in and said "where did the rowers go that were here this afternoon?" ugly situation.

I'm going to see a place tomorrow that's about 20 minutes away which will hopefully let me dead and chalk...
