When I felt something in my hamstring I bought something in the pharmacy that seemed to help. It's a tight elastic sleeve that you pull up to your upper thigh, it sure seemed to help.
after 14 months of covid eating i'm finding my pants are like really tight elastic sleeves when i try and pull them up lol
thanks jerry, will look at that. my right hammy has always been tweaky, since hs some 40 years ago. i stretch and stuff, well sort of. maybe it's time to try something new.

FWIW, be prepared for "being tired".
Looking back on events, I find that I had a grace period of about 3-4 months where life in the gym was somewhat normal...and then all the accumulated stressors hit me like a ton of bricks.
Now you might not have had they same therapies, and life events take place, but you did go through a cancer diagnosis, major surgery, and a wedding in a relatively short period off time. This shit catches up to us...
Bottom line: Don't push things if you don't have too.
