funny how the first set at 140 seems almost harder than the last at 320
Hell, just loading the bar to start the session is harder than the top set these days.

lol ain't that the truth; that and taking to previous sessions work weight off the bar!

I always count that as the conditioning part of the workout.

Do you also have the feeling "calling it" becomes more and more present in your training life...

lol absolutely. At late-57 I have neither the time nor the resources to recover from an ego-driven injury. I want to enjoy the extra dimension to life these gainzzz have given, not give myself new issues.

muggy again, and we lost power yesterday for 17 hours so my right side was sore from starting the generator every 2 hours to save the food in the fridges. 3 at 330 was enough. knee seemed better, until I walked up the steps out of the garage then a little twinge. Oh well.

I am at late 67 and looking back I am sure that doing as you are now lifting you will be more prepared for things to come. You overcame a great deal last year and came through strong! The little things will always be there and you have to work around them by trying to learn when to "call it".
