work: 115x5x5 This was grueling. It's the next step on the road to 135 though. This has gotta drive me to 127.5 on Thursday which puts me right in line for a 135 bench in two weeks.
Since I forgot to do any backoffs on the OHP, I punished decided to do an AMRAP 65 backoff. I got bored at 15 reps. My boobs are getting big.
Chins -- did three of as far up as I could go / as long as I could hang there.
Squat: 45x10, 85x5, 135x3, 185x2, 205x1
work: 230x5x5 On the first rep of the first set, I lost my balance and hit the safeties. I thought I was stuck but I ground it out and did what amounts to a paused squat. Since I'm banned from doing powercleans until I fix my arm bend, I decided to do some light deadlifts.
DL: 135x5, 185x5, 225x5. All double-overhand and 225 was pretty easy.

I'm wondering if just failing at chins 6 times a week is going to get me anywhere, and thinking maybe I'd be wiser to do chin-grip lat pulldowns, three sets of five, and run a 5 pound linear progression on them from whatever I can do easily. I bet if I can do something like 175x5x3 I might be able to chine. I hate not being able to do one, single, fucking, chinup.
