Haha you guys are old. Aren't you worried about falling and not being able to get up?

You mean "THOSE GUYS" are old. I'm not even 45 yet.
2/22 DL / Squat Day
Deadlift 5/3/1 Wave B: 135x5x2, 185x5, 225x3, 245x1
work: 260x3, 295x3, 330x4.
Funny thing happened that illustrates some of the benefit of getting stronger. On my 245 single, last warmup, the bar felt pretty off balance, but I finished the rep anyhow thinking "man I'm an idiot, I must have put an extra five on one side." Now 245 takes on each side: 45+45+10. When I finished the rep I looked. I have 45+45+10 on one side, and 45+45+25 on the other. It felt fucked up, for sure, but I didn't ruin my back or anything, I just lifted it and put it down and then quickly fixed the plates while calling myself a moron.
On the 330x4 is a new 4RM. I started back up on rep 5 but I wasn't set properly and while I felt like I could have ground it out I decided to punt.
Squats: planned to do 230x5x3. Warmups: 45x10, 95x5, 135x3, 185x3, 205x1
work: 225x5, 230x3, 225x5 Are you sensing a theme here? I forgot the chip. Then I put the chips on and promptly when too deep, lost tightness, and fucked it up. Sat down for a few minutes and then banged out another 225x5. I also coined an Acronym. Squats After Deadlifts...that's right, they make me SAD.
Pretty good day all around. 330x4 keeps my e1RM right at 360. Next week is 350x1+. I really want three reps.
Good work, Cimm! But you are right, squats first, then deads.
Good work on the top lifts for DL. Squats first unless you are chasing a number on Deads. Then Deads first. But it takes so much to do top Deads that you will be quite drained for Squats.
I'm just experimenting with the post DL squats an an assistance sort of lift to drive my 5/3/1 squats and to work on technique. I think doing them drained is ok in this case, it just makes for a rough squat session. My theory is when I do my main 5/3/1 squats on Friday it will be so nice to not be tired out from a 330x4 deadlift they'll feel light.
Bench: 45x10, 65x5, 85x3, 105x1, 115x1
work: 120x5, 135x3, 150x2. I feel like something's wrong technique wise. The limiting factor in my bench lately is how much my shoulders can take, not how much I can push. I'm going to re-read the Bench chapter of SS and re-watch the bench platform video.
OHP: 45x10, 50x10, 55x10, 65x10, 70x10, 75x10
Chins: -70x5x3, -70x4, -80x5
DB Curlz: 25x10x3
My shoulders kinda sucks, and for me it's really important to tuck my shoulder blades in before I start the lift. If I don't get the position right I might as well stop and reset.
