173lbs, i had a different scale that said i was 10lbs heavier. I was probably 160lbs when i started but thought i was 170. I'm doing .5-.75 GOMAD with chocolate milk. When i ask for chocolate milk in restaurants they think I'm joking.
I'm tired of being a skinny. I've got an older brother who has been doing GOMAD since he was little. He always had muscles even as a kid; I wonder why!
6ish weeks into the program
Squat 45->115 hence the title. My form is subpar going to see a coach in the next couple weeks.
Bench 45->145
Deadlift 45->200
Press 45->70
The last straw that got me started lifting weights. Went to a Scottish festival with my family. Some old lady said in the hotel that I looked like a poet, she said my brother looked like a Viking he's 1/4" shorter than me but 70lbs heavier with forearms like Mark McGwire. lol
Long term Goal is to hit 300/200/400/150 Squat/Bench/Dead/Press. Be stronger than my brother. haha.

Welcome. Starting this young you should reach your goals. If you do you will probably weigh over 210 lbs. maybe quite a bit more. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys, 210lbs would be nice. Before i started i didn't feel young, sore back, sore knee...those problems are gone now.

i'm 6' and 210 came suprisingly easy (thanks local brewery!)

Karl Schudt used to be an "average" 6' tall fellow but as the months went by he turned into the mighty hulk. He now weighs around 265 and Squats around 600 lbs, deads just under that, and Benches 465 lbs. He is now a certified SS coach. He is the one man who got me linked up with Sully a certified SS coach. I want to be like Karl but I think I started a bit too late at 68 but I'm doing rather well anyway.

Squat 125 x 5x3 PR
Press 75 x 5x3 PR
Chin ups 7,7,3
PR for chins is 12. Not even close.
Squat felt kind of easy, I hope I can get my squat to 200 before my bench.

great stuff so far, just post a vid if possible of your form so that the very helpful folks here can give you pointers and correct any issues early, then you'll progress nicely

I posted one a few weeks ago, my form was terrible. It feels better now squatting.

Squat 130x5x3 PR, Felt good, no leg muscles hurt anymore. Felt easy too! Almost in the single plate club.
Bench 150x5x3 PR, getting close to my bodyweight!!
Deadlift 210x5x1 PR, Felt heavy, I need chalk hands were sweating like crazy after the first two reps.
Bodyweight 175lbs PR!
