    ****Skillin suggested making sure the volume is accumulated on these; so instead of trying to eke out 10x3, which have invariably failed consistently, make your 30 rep total, but spread it out. So, this was the first go at that. Got through all of these.

    On a related news front, last night my mom mentioned that my brother, who also logs here, has been trying to get here into strength training. She's got type 2 diabetes and hates and fears the new medication they recently put her on. I think it's a great idea to be honest. Now, if we could get my dad, new hip as of last year, and my father-in-law, pseudo-gym rat, who's got back issues and an upcoming knee replacement, to get in on the act as well. Squats and deadlifts would fix them right up.

    **Day 2 of squat homework. Videoed every one of these sets to check form. Lots of volume, not much intensity. 205 was where I started to see shit break down.
    ***A little bit better. Still hate these.
    ****This session was my first in Romaleos. As I told Skillin, they feel like you're wearing magnetic boots. Anyway, if I never felt the tension in my hamstrings as I set my lower back, I sure did yesterday. Reps 3 and 4 got away from my thighs, so definitely hips were way too high. I don't get you slipper-wearing deadlift weirdos.

    There's a weird buzzing about in my log pages. Also, the smell of Desenex and Astro-Glide. What are these sticky and stained pictures of Louie Simmons doing strewn about?
