Nice conservative re-start numbers. Left arm felt good under the bar. No issues to report.

    Onward.
Glad to see you back at it, my man.

Squat went down with no issues. Actually, I was very happy being able to get under and out of the bar without discomfort. Bench press form is still neither here nor there. Some reps just barely kiss my shirt, others hit my chest harder. Left and right arms get off balance. Not happy with the deadlift, even though I completed all work reps, the bar was getting out ahead of me and not staying on my legs on the way up. Squoze stamina is and has been an issue. I'm going to revisit the setup and troubleshooting sections and work on it.

Definitely sore this morning, but nothing debilitating. I always sleep hot after workouts, so last night was start and stop. Left arm soreness is back, in the same spot. So far, it's nothing that's so incredibly annoying that I want to give up and eat Oreos. Hanley or Hill off-handedly mentioned in a thread that it may be a bench press form artifact. Guess what I did last night?

My left arm issue is still hanging on, but it's not prohibiting me from getting under the bar. Videoed my last set of three and was happily surprised by the result. I was afraid of really high squats and a totally concave back. Nope. Shot the vid to Skillin who commented that I need to bring my stance in and point my tits out more. It could have been worse.

I was able to fix my deadlift bar-off-legs issue with help from The Book. Diagnosis? Hips too high resulting in a virtually horizontal back. I dropped my hips a touch until I felt tightness in my ass and hamstrings, and viola. This set went up easier than the last. Funny how that works when you get the mechanics right.

My brother was over last night. His squat needs work; Skillin, expect a call. Had an awful day besides this, so everything was thrown off. I like doing things on my own. Lifting alone helps with my concentration. Squat felt less than OK. Hard. Maybe poor recovery. Fucking damn left arm is still bothering me. Bench press form sucks cat balls. Deadlift was OK. Grabbed a 310 single off of my brother's aborted work set that went up slowly, but went up.

It's been a struggle nailing the bar position. I'm convinced my left arm issue is due to carrying it far too low on my back. Thus, I can't get good thoracic extension without the bar feeling like it was slipping. I've been working on setting it a touch higher and it seems to be helping.

The LTEs along with the curls seem to be getting everything good and warm, so I think I've finally found a way to blast the inflammation away. Nothing hurts today, (EDIT: Yes, I've got that dull "headache" thing going on in my arm.) although everything from my shoulder to my wrists are a little stiff. I don't mind.

The deadlifts were pulled 100% hook grip, although it's still taking a mid set break to give my hands a break. Good thing the bar isn't getting away from my shins.

Squats need more chest and knees out. Presses went slow at the end. Let's see Friday. Deadlifts went pretty zippily all the way through first three reps of work set. Squoze, more squoze.

LTEs are doing the trick; arm feels great right now. Going to keep fractionally loading these.

Chest was better on squats, but knees out more. I need to toughen up and stick through all five deadlift reps. Get enough chalk the first time. Don't waste time. Breathe and pull.

Press went up really slow, need to fractionally load these going forward.

This was a really inspiring squat session. Reps were flying up and for once I really felt a distinct bounce at the bottom of the hole. I mean, these are baby squats, but they just felt really, really good. Arm felt great; looks like shoveling for two days helped clear out the inflammation. Bench press form still sucks. Cleans are damn tiring; the last two sets I know there was a lot of arm pull, but I didn't have it in the tank to get the bar to rack. Definitely need to start maybe sprinkling in some conditioning.
