    De-load day one. (Or as the lovely Suzie says "Download day")

    Deadlifts: 325x5x2, 315x5x1

    Squats: 237x5x3

    Making 2 gallons of Vodka Mint Lemonade and 2 Gallons of Bourbon Sweet Tea then heading to Virginia for my best friends wedding tomorrow.

    Event Training Day

    [B][/6/24/2017B]

    Was in Lancaster, PA training with the implements being used in the upcoming strongman contest.

    First was the steel blocks shaped like the state of Pennsylvania. They were awkward even though they were only 110 pounds, had a problem getting the hands underneath without hurting the already tender thumbs. After trying a half dozen times, finally got it. Need WAY more practice.



    After that was the silver dollar deadlifts. Got up to 575 but failed on the 665 attempt.



    Then tried the car. Supposedly weighs 500 pounds but felt like way more than that.



    Four weeks out and I need a lot of work.
