Felt good. No soreness from Monday. Did have a bit of a stiff back that night. Probably from not having done enough deadlifts over the last couple weeks. They always make me feel better after a while.

I'm a wimp. I don't like doing anything until failure, so I am slowly increasing my chin-ups each time. Seems like a starting strength approach. A little more stress each time.

I got tired of not hitting PRs, so I pushed it a little today. Matched my PR in squats and set a new one for deadlift. I got my wife started on SS today, so having her with me was a bit of motivation to do something bigger.

I can't believe how easily the weights moved on bench for a PR set. 26 years ago, I benched 325 for a 1RM, and then I quit lifting weights. I have a new goal. I really want to be stronger than I was as a freshman in college. I didn't deadlift back then, and I'm sure my squats weren't deep enough. But I do remember having a legitimate bench press. We will see. I believe that consistency is the key...along with sleep and fuel.

Read through your log today on rig move-- it's awesome to see your gains on paper! You've encouraged quite a few of us to get stronger and be better! Also, I love this line.
