Wrists straight are very good for lifting.
Have you heard any news about the flights for the April 27 competition? Usually we have them this close to events. I sent a note to David but haven't heard back.

I've heard nothing about flights, but figure it is the same as last time unless I hear something new.
David has it under control, we'll know when we need to know.
Happy with the squat, but faded as we went on. A lot of time pressure on workout duration.
Some of the fail is insufficient rest periods, some due to the usual suspects.

I find it good to back off a bit on the week before a competition. I'm doing HLM and will have a light day on Monday. I may fool around on Wednesday but not lift. I'll then be ready for a Heavy (H) day on Sat. April 27.

Dead 275 / 301 / 315 All time PR for this was set in 1975, I was about to turn 21. Attempt 2 is an attempt at a nearly 44 year old PR.

Squat: I've done 235x5 but not across 3 sets
Press: 114x5x3 a week or so ago
Dead: 275x1 this week 245x2 last week, so the 301 is a stretch goal, 315 just seems cool as a plan.
there will be some rounding to even kilos, but the 301 attempt must be greater than 300. (as long as the 275 is white lights)

You will certainly beat me on the squat and probably on the press. I will do my very best to beat you on the Deadlift.

Silly question.... will the meet be streamed at all? I'll have plenty of downtime on my trek downtown and then waiting around. If it's streamed, I can watch it on my phone
