Can you imagine what John Claassen could have lifted if he had not waited until 89 to begin. Notice, the lifts were done with overhand grip.

I did notice that. Amazing. But who knows even now?

    12/24/2019 Christmas Eve

    Bench 45x5 95x3 135x3x3
    LatPull 40x5 110x3 135x3x3

Now take my creatine monohydrate with my bone broth in the morning.
Sully has a great video out yesterday on Creatine and masters.

Been wondering about CoQ10. I'm not on statins, which it is usually recommended for.
But it may be useful for someone who will be 66 in May. Searched the forums, and it is usually taken by folks on statins.

    1/2/2020 Thursday wt 264.0

    Squat 45x3 135x1 215x3x3 +2.5
    Bench 45x3 95x1 140x3x3 +5
    Lat Pull 110x3 145x3x3 +10

Someone asked me plans for 2020. Without thinking I said I'd pull 475 at the fall classic.
Now I wasn't think right then, and when I was thinking I was thinking 375... which is an entirely different number.
Since I failed at 315 in the fall, Being 66 this year and all, at first I was pissed at my stupidity... for thinking such an outrageous weight was even possible.
That is about 1.8x body weight.
Then I was pissed at myself for ASSUMING this was impossible.
The voices in my head can be very entertaining.
375 is only 1.4x bw. I'd need to be pulling 375 for reps by spring to have a shot at this.
My current "failed" 315 is 1.19 x bw.

I have plenty of calibrated plates. And a home made dead lift jack.
Lets see with the jump in programming to 3's has in it.
Let's see what the guy I see in the mirror has in him.

    Thanks Travis.

    1/5/2020 Sunday
    Squat 45x3 135x1 217.5x3x3
    Press 42x3 97x3x3
Dead 135x3 205x1 262.5x3 315x0 315x0 Second got off the ground. Double overhand grip.

Thought I'd throw in a heavy single.
315 would be a PR, so perhaps heavy for my single... but wanted to try out my new Hampton plates. I now have 4 pairs.
I also have 2 pairs of Troy 45's. May try 295 next cycle, or may go heavy single every other cycle.
