Hell Carson, for the most part it's an opportunity to set more records in a new age class. But my sleep has been bad lately so I've been feeling old and tired. Better today after two nights of sound sleep though.
Carson! Welcome back to the land of the lifting!
After watching Pizzadad's videos about moving huge boulders around his home building project, I'm rather embarrassed to report a couple of mishaps moving far lighter plastic kayaks.
I alternate between being inspired and pissed.
So attempting to begin progression again working out every 3 days. (slightly more than 2x a week in theory).
As to the virus, use your head but don't hide in your house. Going shopping for more ingredients for Stan Efferding's mash, and then back to my project to hang kayaks off the side of my shed.
We're out of the woods, but continue to use your heads.
Cheesepuff,
Not back yet. I'm doing the goofy stuff until June something or other. Then when we get back we have to wear masks. I sure don't like that but I don't want to endanger Sully's business.
6/1/2020 Monday 3 day gap (my new plan)
Press 42x5 92x5x3 with arc
Squat 45x5x2 135x3 205x3x3
Dead 135x3 245x3 +10 PR for reps 272
There we go, was finally able to increase something.
Will retry the +5 on Squats Thursday, Lord willing.
Felt like a lot in the tank on the dead.
Music: Tommy (the rock opera) - the Who
Deadlift to Pinball Wizard
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war.

Great choice of music. That lead in to Pinball Wizard could raise the dead(lift). So to speak. It's right up there with Fogerty's Up Around the Bend guitar coda.
And that quote from Shakespeare is one of my faves as well.
Yeah, gotta play more CCR.
The guitar intro into Crazy on You (EARLY Heart) is magic, man. LOL.
