I'd trade all that to lift like you.

    11/6/2020 Friday

    Press 42x5 103x5x3 +0
    SQ 45x3 135x1 185x3x3 +40
    DL 135x3 185x1 225x3 +40

Only a slight broken a$$ twinge on SQ.
Felt like an actual lifting session, not the barbell version of stretchy cords.

Moral of the story, don't break your ass.

You guys are too kind. I miss working with our real master lifter, 94 year old John Claassen. He hasn't been in the gym since last March. It's a prison for him. If you haven't seen his movie, "Outlifting Life" you should check it out on Youtube.

Carson, "Outlifting Life" is a great watch!

    11/16/2020 Monday

    Bench 45x5 115x1 145x5x3
    Squat 45x3 135x1 185x1 *oops* 155x3x2
    Dead 135x3 185x1 225x3

Broken ass syndrome returned unexpectedly this morning. (aka lightning ass)
    ibprofen helped.

Had a big twinge about to start the second squat rep at 185, so I racked it.

    did better than I thought.

Starting to think my problem is stress. Work... politics... life... all sort of a train wreck.

As for the politics, I tied myself in knots over the 2000 election debacle for weeks. I am largely, although not entirely, successful in not doing that to myself this time around. If Bidet is inaugurated, DB and I will simply do our best to live our lives and ride it out, resisting wherever and whenever possible. In other words, the Benedictine Method for riding out the Dark Ages.

Well put. We plan to do the same. I'm not going to kill myself over this disaster. Who knows, may Bidet (love the spelling) is actually a modern day version of Xerxes.
