Cut all the wooden parts for my DIY prowler.
Had several projects to do to make a space in the garage for it.
Trip to the hardware store for brackets, pipe and screws is next.
I sort of thought this would be a "one evening project".
Keeps me off he streets I guess.

What kind of surface are you going to push it on?

I'm planning on using my driveway, maybe sidewalk / street.
I've seen what these do to grass, even if you pull them with a harness (which gets the nose up some so it doesn't "dig in" as much).
I'd rather replace the pvc skids than my lawn. My lawn usually needs help anyway.
I figure the concrete will be fine, but I'll go through those front skids pretty fast.
I'll cut extras. I may have to replace with "wood ski's" over time. We'll see.

4/20/2021 Tuesday... ok maybe 6 days gap

Bench 158x5,5,4 +1... almost, so that's what those safety bars are for!
    Squat 178x3,3,3 +2

Still need 4 45 degree brackets and pipe for the prowler.
This seems like a fine use of my 35 lb plates.

    5/13/2021 Thursday turned 67 3 days ago.
yeah, that was a 23 day gap...

Deadlift 245x3 -12 from month ago

Got a real good look at my worst enemy today.
But, I couldn't stand in front of the mirror all day.

Prowler = fail. I suspect I got the wrong diameter pipe, so the 4x4's shattered almost immediately.
Worse, the prowler project and another ill timed project occupied my rack for almost a month.
"Couple of days max", famous last words.
The rack is a little "too handy" as a work bench.

Watched Rip's video on how to use the Prowler.
It occurred to me that the things "most people" do wrong on the prowler are things I do wrong mowing the lawn.
I did them right both minutes that my prowler was operational. So why not keep my head up and weight on my heels when I push a lawnmower
instead of using my riding mower. What a concept.

Last night my wife told me that I needed to lift weights because "you're always in a bad mood".
In fairness, watching my prowler fall apart, then find out I had trouble pushing even a lawn mower
did not help my mood much.

Once pushing a mower is no longer a challenge, I do have an "improved" concept for a prowler, now that I've built and destroyed one.

    5/17/2021 Monday

    press (with arc) 42x5 92x5 102X5

SQUAT 45X3 135X3 170X3 (somehow lost track of 135 being a warmup set of 1)

Yes Mr. B. she tells me that all the time so it must be right!
People keep asking my why I'm not retired, that is getting to be a "better question" all the time.

After mowing the lawn with a true push mower (aka not self propelled), perhaps it was merciful that my prowler broke.

I used to do the lawn in 40 minutes in one session.

This last was more like 3x 20 minute sessions with 2x 15 minute breaks, 3 if you count the one at the end.

Excited about boating season. Amazing how much boat you can get cheap if you don't mind doing some work.
