    8/9/2022 Tuesday

Week in northern Wisconsin. Great time.

Bench 45x10 55x10,10,10 since I'm bogged down thought I'd try higher reps until more normal weights happen.

    Squat 45x3 65x1 115x1 165x3,2 155x3 wasn't there, depth also problem, I'll consider it good for 155

My workout area tends to get cluttered up when packing and unpacking for these trips.
    That's a problem.

I gather a pull-down is on some machine you own? Do you find it a helpful exercise?

    Carson:
Pull-downs: I put a pulley on my rack (centered on the pull up bar) my rack is too close to the ceiling for chins... as if I could.
on the floor I place a metal T with a eyelet at the top. I put weights on this, run a steel cable thru the pulley and two a handle my brother made.
    My brother is a welder.

I made one out of a 2x4 using a 1.5" hole saw and a couple angled cuts.
This also is slotted to lift for rack pulls. (since I use a cradle instead of the rack)

Made a deadlift jack and 5 bar gun rack out of a single 2x4 for $2.87 : homegym

I chose to center the hole on the 2x4 for more stability at the top. No need to "notch" the foot, as some do.

My brother has a rogue unit, I like my 2x4 better. I saw this in one of Rip's videos. They sell something similar.

I can guarantee you that the 2x4 is easier to store and move around. Besides being easier to use.

The 2x4 is God’s gift to folks who need to improvise.
