I noticed you have a safety bar for squats. I did not know that you used one.

    8/30/2022 Tuesday

    Pull downs 95x10 130x10,10,10

    Rack Pull 185x3 275x1 300x0 295x0 275x3

felt like a lot of zeroes.

My babysitting shift moved to 7 pm to 1am. Much more favorable. Sure hasn't shown up in my lifting yet. LOL.

Carson: I bought the Rogue Safety Squat bar after my second shoulder injury. I wasn't sure yet if this was a chronic condition.
I put a lot of effort into shoulder work and I'm "still in the game" so to speak.

Mr Bingley: I can't believe they charged you $2.98 for 2' of 2x4. That is horrifying. Mine is made from "repurposed" wood.

    Thursday 9/1/2022

    Bench 45x10 65x10,10,10

Squat 45x5 115x3 145x5,5,5 actually to depth (pvc feeler gauge)

Decided that since my weights are at "not very strong" beginner, that going back to 5's is appropriate.
Going to try to lift every other day.
We'll see how that works out.

Hopefully those 5's treat you well and you can get back to every other day frequency. For me, frequency is the game-changer.

    Keep at it!

Thanks Bill! I'll do my best.

Turns out the sore throat was....
    DUN... DUN... DAAAA
    THE DREAD COVID VIRUS

Thought it was just alergies until wednesday when my fever went to 100. (and I tested positive on the quick coin flip test).

Ivervemectin and zinc on Wednesday broke the fever. Feel better, voice still needs work.

    Bench 45x10 70x5,5,5

    Squat 45x5 115x3 150x3,3,3

I feel that upping my volume and frequency (aka overtraining) added to my vulnerability.
So, I'm going back to prior rep ranges (3's on squats and deads, and 5' on presses and pulls)

btw, the 10's on presses and pulls really felt like it was taking me places.
Glad to be back. Missed a lot of babysitting time.
    Big day planned today though.
