Lots of walking and yard work. Decided to level my yard where they dug up the water main.

Big ruts, mounds of clay. Thinking of putting down some gypsum to improve drainage. Fixed some of the drainage problems by cutting a
path thru the accidental berms / dams made by the excavator and bobcat. I forgot how much I like playing in dirt. Maybe I'll
drive a bull dozer or excavator when I grow up.

Good to see you maintain a sense of joyfulness. Here's hoping that you always have it.

Due to cold garage, I've gone back to one lift a day. Less hanging out in the garage and hopefully some badly needed consistency.

    20 min walk out

Walking program. I borrowed a concept from Stan Efferding who sets his phone timer for 5 minutes and walks out that far and returns.
I figured that 10 minutes was close to "max effort" (aka I was worried I'll call my wife for a ride home). I added a minute a day until I got to going out 28 minutes. (I suspect the return trips took longer).
At 28 minutes I was not recovered in two days. (for whatever reason). So now I've taken about 2/3 of that (20 minutes) for my new "recoverable" walk. I hope to do this most days, as long as I'm not running the snow blower, or mowing the lawn.

    Squat 45x5 115x3 155x3,0

Unracked the second set, back felt squirrelly. had not tweaked anything yet, kept it that way.

Probably mostly in my head. I had been dreading this workout. But, I feel better having done one set without injury.
I need to do a better job of showing up. The cold snap was daunting, but we're back to moderate weather now.

Spend 10.5 hours with my grand daughter yesterday. What a joy. Now there's a reason to lift!

    Happy New Year everyone!

Making some progress on my walking. Slightly faster on my 20min out and back. (21 minutes back is my best to date, first couple were 23 and change)
I trust you all are well.

My 9 month old grand daughter would like to thank Rip and the support community because grampy plays airplane ride. I swing her around the house like she's a little airplane. Her other favorite is jumping on the sink in front of the bathroom mirror. Pre-SS grampy wasn't playing those games.
