    1/19/18:
    Deadlift 260lb - 1x5
    Bench 205lb - 1x4, 1x4, 1x3
    Squat - warmups only

    Today:
    Squat 225lb - 3x5
    OHP 127.5lb - 1x5, 1x4, 1x5
    Deadlift 230lb - 1x5

    Body weight: 220lb.

Deloading on squats to work on form. I don't think I've been shoving my knees out hard enough lately, and also may have been leg pressing them to some extent. Have had some lower back pain which I am guessing is because of these errors in form. Frustrating because I always seem to stall with injuries and such right around 250lb. On the plus side, press went fairly well and light DL felt very strong and form felt good. Have had some achiness in my right arm, not severe but will monitor.

    1/23/18:
    Squat 225lb - 3x5
    Bench 205lb - 1x5, 1x4, 1x4
    Deadlift 265lb - 1x5

    Today:
    Squat 215lb - 3x5
    OHP 127.5lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 270lb - 1x5

Still working on proper squat form. In my latest workout today I feel like I had a few reps where it 'clicked', but still lacking consistency. Deadlift has been going well, I think my setup has improved and the weight has been going up.

    1/30/18:
    Squat 225lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 235lb - 1x5
    Bench - did not attempt

    Today:
    Squat - did not attempt
    Bench 205lb - 1x5, 1x5, 1x3
    Deadlift 275lb - 1x5

Short on time the last couple workouts. Have felt pretty good though. Lower back achiness has subsided.

    2/4/18:
    Squat 230lb - 3x5
    OHP 130lb - 1x5, 1x5, 1x4
    Deadlift 235lb - 1x5

    Today:
    Squat 235lb - 3x5
    Bench 205lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 255lb - 1x5

    Current body weight: 220lb

Pretty good workout today. Felt relatively strong and in control on the squat reps. Looking back at previous logs I didn't have as much pain doing these reps as I did before. Finally got all the bench reps in at 205lb, pretty sure that's a new personal best for me so happy about that. Did not go heavy on the last two deadlift working sets.

    2/11/18:
    Squat 240lb - 1x4, 1x4, 1x4
    OHP 130lb - 1x5, 1x4, 1x5
    Deadlift 275lb - 1x5

    2/13/18:
    Deadlift 235lb - 1x5
    Squat 240lb - 1x3 - 230lb - 2x5
    Bench 210lb - 1x3, 1x3

What a couple of crap workouts. No good excuse either, have been feeling healthy. Frustrated with squat. Every time I creep up to the 240-250lb range I can't seem to break through and wind up backing down. I'm thinking it might be due to lack of keeping my lower back tight enough. Kind of sad that my bench is almost at my squat. Also had a blood pressure check and my numbers were higher than they should be. I'm going to buy a monitor to take readings at home.

    2/15/18:
    Squat 205lb - 1x3 - 185lb, 1x5, 1x5
    OHP 130lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 280lb - 1x5

    2/18/18:
    Squat 195lb - 3x5
    Bench 210lb - 1x4, 1x4, 1x3
    Deadlift 240lb - 1x5

Backed down on squat again to try and figure things out. Trying to use active hips, keep back straight, keep everything tight. All the other lifts are going pretty well. Got my blood pressure monitor and tested a couple times and the numbers looked normal so that was encouraging.

    2/20/18:
    Squat 195lb - 3x5
    OHP 132.5lb - 1x5, 1x4, 1x4
    Deadlift 285lb - 1x5

    2/23/18:
    Squat 205lb - 3x5
    Bench 210lb - 1x3, 1x4, 1x3
    Deadlift 235lb - 1x5

Trying to really focus on active hips with the squat. Last couple of sessions have been better. Not completely sure if my deadlift working set was 285lb or accidentally 275lb. I will redo at that weight for my next workout.

    2/25/18:
    Squat 210lb - 1x4, 1x3, 1x4
    OHP 132.5lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 285lb - 1x5

    2/27/18:
    Squat 210lb - 1x5, 1x4, 1x5
    Bench 210lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 240lb - 1x5

    Body weight: 222lb.

Somehow I must have forgotten how to squat, or maybe I was just doing it wrong the whole time. The last two workouts at 210lb which is lower than I had been doing just a few weeks ago have seemed really tough. I don't get it because the other lifts are still progressing along OK.

OK, time to start this back up again after 1.5 years! Picked some new baselines and I'm hoping for steady progression up to and beyond my previous numbers. Would also like to incorporate some HIIT and recreational tennis into my overall training plan. Let's see how it goes.

    Current body weight is 205lb.

    8/5/19:
    Squat 165lb - 3x5
    OHP 105lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 250lb - 1x5

    8/9/19:
    Squat 170lb - 3x5
    Bench 165lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 255lb - 1x5

    8/12/19:
    Squat 175lb - 3x5
    OHP 110lb - 2x5, 1x4, 1x1
    Deadlift 260lb - 1x5

    Bench 170lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 265lb - 1x5

Felt pretty good. Not sure I was getting great hip drive on my squats, but they went up. Also not sure I maintained great form on my last couple of deadlift reps. Hoping to stay healthy and continue to feel as good as I do now.
