    12/2/19:
    Squat 250lb - 1x4, 2x5, 1x1
    Bench 192.5lb - 3x5

Time was limited. Fairly happy with the squats, no major pain afterward. Bench went up as well. Not able to do deadlifts, hopefully tomorrow.

    12/4/19:
    Deadlift 310lb - 1x2, 1x1 305lb - 1x2
    Chins
    BW AMRAPx2 (3,3)
    Negatives at 0-0-3 x4x3

Don't remember much about this workout other than it felt harder than I thought it should have and my grip was failing on a couple of the deadlift reps. Bleh. Also my chins sucked although I was trying to do a more full range of motion so I am going to chalk it up to that rather than complete lack of improvement.

    12/7/19:
    Squat 255lb - 3x5
    OHP 132.5lb - 1x3, 1x4, 1x4, 1x2, 1x2
    Deadlift - 255lb 1x3, 285lb 1x1

Felt kind of dynamite today on the squats. Expected it to be brutal but felt really good and I don't think form was horrible. I was pretty spent at the end of the reps though and my OHP suffered. Just did some lighter deadlifts. Very positive mindset after today, hope to keep it up. I'm near my squat PR and usually get hurt around now but so far so good.

    12/9/19:
    Chins- Assisted 44lb 4x5

    12/10/19:
    Squat 260lb - 1x4, 1x1
    Bench 195lb - 1x4, 1x4
    Deadlift 310lb - 1x1, 305lb 1x1

Felt tired going into the workout, not a great effort. Was time limited so had to cut things short, but I probably would have needed to do that anyway given how I was feeling. The one set of squats I did felt OK. Bench felt relatively strong and I focused more on a controlled descent and touching the bar gently to my chest. Deadlift did not go well, I had reviewed the 5 step method and couldn't manage more than a rep. Hoping it was just fatigue. Lower back has been feeling it lately.

    12/11/19:
    Chins
    BW AMRAPx2 (4,3)
    Negatives at 0-0-3 x4x3

    12/13/19:
    Squat 260lb - 1x5, 1x4, 1x5, 1x1
    OHP 132.5lb - 1x5, 1x4, 1x4, 1x2
    Deadlift - 255lb 1x3

    12/16/19:
    Squat - Did not perform
    Bench 195lb - 3x5
    Deadlift 305lb - 1x2, 1x1 295lb 1x1, 1x1

Trying to catch up on my logs. Overall impressions lately have been feeling OK on squat, having trouble with deadlift. With deadlift the issue seems to be more of a grip strength problem, as I'm lowering the bar my grip seems to be failing due to sweat etc. Overall still feeling pretty good, my lower back has been fatigued so I'd like to deadlift less but I'm also worried about my squat creeping up to my deadlift value.

    12/19/19:
    Squat 250lb - 3x5
    Chins - Assisted 39.5lb 3x5

Under the weather with a head cold, sleep has not been great lately. Felt taxed today. Had a physical and my blood pressure and glucose were less than ideal. My weight is under control, diet is pretty clean, I do this program and I don't think it's genetic so I was surprised. I assume the blood pressure issue must be stress-induced, not sure how to control it. I've had slightly elevated values in the past but the last few months I've had multiple elevated readings even after they take it a few times. I don't think it's a cuff size thing. I'm going to clean up the diet even further and add some additional cardio and see where I'm at in 6 months. Any other ideas out there would be appreciated.

    12/22/19:
    OHP 135lb - 1x5, 1x4, 1x4, 1x2
    Chins - BW AMRAPx2 (4,3)

Still recovering from illness and feeling sluggish on this day. Decided to OHP and do chins and some light cardio. Went OK, almost got 4 on both sets of chins finally.

    12/23/19:
    Squat - 245lb - 3x5
    Bench 195lb - 3x5

Felt really taxed after these squats, almost nauseous. Probably a combination of a not great lunch and illness still. Bench actually felt pretty strong though. Will have to bump it up next time. Added some light cardio again at the end.

    12/24/19:
    Chins Assisted 35.5lb 4x5

Felt much better today. Energy level is back. Looking forward to getting back on normal routine after the holiday. Have really been focused on my diet lately, I think I had been getting a little too comfortable eating whatever I wanted because I thought overall I was pretty healthy. Cutting back on the high fat foods and sweets as much as I can now.

    Thanks!

    12/26/19:
    Deadlift 285lb - 1x5

Backed off on the deadlifts a little in order to complete a true set of 5. Felt pretty strong, but totally spent at the end.

    12/27/19:
    OHP 135lb 1x4, 1x4, 1x4, 1x3
    Chins BW AMRAPx2 (3,3)

    12/29/19:
    Chins Assisted 31lb 5x5

    12/30/19:
    Squat - 250lb - 3x5
    Bench 197.5lb - 1x3, 1x4, 1x4

    Body weight: 217lb

Some quick hitting workouts. I've been getting in a little more cardio in addition to the strength workouts but I'd like to be careful to not do so much to interfere with the strength training. It's been a couple of weeks since I started taking meds for hypothyroidism and I feel like it has helped me feel less sluggish overall. I've also cleaned up my diet lately, trying to eliminate a good deal of sugar and I think that's helped me to feel better too. I have lost some weight due to the dietary changes but am not concerned about that at this time because I think it's best for my health.

    12/31/19:
    Chins BW AMRPx3 (5, 3, 3)

    1/2/20:
    OHP 135lb 1x4, 1x4, 1x4, 1x2
    Deadlift 290lb 1x5

Seems like press has stalled a bit, did not feel close to being able to do the 5th rep on any of the sets. Deadlift felt strong though, form felt relatively decent and managed all the reps.
