    Things that have been fixed since working with Valens Strength (two weeks)

    Squat
    - shin pain below the knee (partially stance width and toe flair)
    - elbow pain in my left elbow caused by grip/ride height on my shoulder

    Press
    - slightly narrower grip and more neutral of a grip on the bar compared to how I used to twist my hands out to grab it so the bar would ride on the heel of the palm...wasn't helping my form
    - no backward hip movement when doing the hip thrust (was causing my back to collapse a little bit
    - the less wide grip also helping with shoulder impingement. I used to get headaches after a heavy press day, but no longer because my neck/shoulder muscles aren't as tweaked

    Deadlift
    - hip just slightly higher so my knee would be back a bit allowing a straighter bar path
    - look ahead a bit further so I could get extension in the upper back

    Bench
    - flat feet on the floor rather than just the toes helping with leg drive
    - leg drive has made these previously heavy weights feel rather light
    - a slightly closer grip has also helped engage more muscle making the weight seem less heavy

    Overall, I'm super happy to have found Valens Strength in San Diego and look forward to working out here for the next few months.

    Left Tricep tendon/Elbow hurts

    I messed up the 3rd rep and twisted/ground it out but couldn’t get the last rep. Will do again Monday with better form I hope.

    Press 120 3x5

    Deadlift 370 x5

    Prowler w/45lb plate up and back
    5x with 2 minute rest between

    Squat 325 3x5 last set wasn't the greatest form. Still need to focus on keeping knees forward

    Bench 192.5 3x5 felt strong

    Deadlift 375 x5 with hook grip
    This was my first time using hook grip and all my attention was on my damn thumbs. Felt good otherwise

    Evening run 2.5 miles
