Work and family life just get in the way of lifting. The weekend was spent with the wife. She had a half marathon in the mountains. So I took the weekend off and ate lots of bread and rice and beans and hamburgers and other fattening delicious stuff.

Tuesday I did 3 sets of 10 chins.

This morning I squatted. 275x3,3. Video showed that I was high so I dropped it 10 lbs
    265x3,3,3
At work I did some neutral grip chin/pull-ups. (Company gym doesn't have a real pull-up bar. 7,8,8,5

    At home tonight
    Deadlift 135x5,5
    185x5
    225x3
    275x2
    315x1
    365x1
    375x1
    315x5

    Bench45x5,5,5
    95x5
    135x3
    185x2
    200x3,3,3,3

I enjoyed myself. I just need to find a way to do a workout to keep my momentum. I think I might start doing a light day when I come back from the weekend, just to make the muscles work and keep some of my gains, as well as having something scheduled that is within reasonable ability.

I saw that you were smashing the rack pulls. Well done. I want to throw those into my routine, but I have to be working out at least 2 times a week before I start doing something like that.

thanks! yeah a light day would not hurt you at all I'm sure, especially since frankly with all the farm work you're doing I'm sure you're maintaining more than you might think.

We had a team of pickers out there. I gathered lugs of grapes all day and took them up to the crusher and poured them in the crusher and pushed the crushed grapes down a chute into the vat. I did 4 acres of fruit. Cabernet Sauvignon. I ate my weight in them as well, although I spit out the skins and seeds. It was a great and exhausting day. Thank God I deadlift. My back would be wrecked if not. I still have a cough from wh no was sick a week ago.
I worked up to 275 on squats tonight.
275x3,4,3. Failed on rep 5 of second set
    225x5
