    27 April Pushed sled, unweighted down the hill and back up. Hill is #3 gravel. Should have been easy. Only about 100 yds each way.

    after a week on the farm, clearing land and planting trees...and weight loss of 6 lbs.

    Squat
    45x5x2, 90x5, 135x3, 180x2
    225x5x3

    press 45x5x2, 65x5, 85x3, 105x2
    125x5x3

    deadlift 135x5x2, 175x5 210x3, 250x2
    285x5

    Chin-ups 12, 12, 10 form breakdown on last rep of the first two sets.

    I just checked out their webpage. I have a daughter who is interested in the University so a day trip downtown and lunch at the Virginian sounds like a good idea.

    May 6
    pushed the prowler down the hill 200 meters. #3 gravel and the front ski keeps digging in. So I switched to pulling it with a makeshift cargo strap. Pulled back up hill and turns did another loop.
    25 push-ups.
    May 7 was hard ass farm work. Gave myself an extra day off on the 8th and shifted my workout back one day.

    245x5x3 second set was hellish....3rd set wasn't so bad....rested 5 minutes.
    press 130x5x3 All 3 sets felt heavy...I am trying to learn the 2.0 press and it doesn't seem like its working.

    Today was one of those training days where everything sucks and you wonder if you might be some kind of special weakling who simply can not get strong.
    Squat...work sets were 255 but it was a damned struggle and I videoed the second set. I was 3 inches high. I dropped the weight for the last set to 235.....last time I pressed It was a hell of a chore at 130 and I was very swayback....I wonder if this is contributing to the sciatica that is absolutely kicking my ass. I reset to 115 today
    Deadlift was 305. got it but it was vastly more challenging than 295 was 4 days ago. I'm going to have to drop to 5 lb increments. today was my first day with weighted chin-ups.....not really an issue.. at least there was one exercise I did without trouble

    squat 255x5x2.....not breaking parallel per video.
    235x5
    press 115 x5x3
    deadlift 305x5
    chin-ups +5 lbs 8,8,8

    Also, I took measured ziplock bags of whey isolate with me to the farm this weekend. I ate 100 grams of whey each day (shake in morning and shake before bed) in addition to plenty of regular food this weekend. I still came home at 213 lbs....even after eating well today and making sure I was hydrated I was 215 tonight when I stumbled thru my workout.

    chin-up 10 lbs 8,8,8 power cleans really set off m y sciatica. This shit is annoying me.
