Two weeks since i last lifted
Started my vacation today. Flew into San Antonio for my son graduating basic traing for Air Force. Drove straight to Heavy Metal Fitness. An awesome strength, powerlifting, and strongman Gym. I cant say enough good about the placelots of strong people in there, getting stronger.

I have not died. I did have a little trouble walking stairs the night of my last workout, 2 weeks ago. I caught a cold on the trip back from San Antonio. Add some laziness to the mix and I didn't lift again until tonight.

    Just checking your press movement.
If you really focus on the lockout with your head coming forward and shoulders and arms going backward over head it gives your shoulders a chance to recover a bit and grind out 1 or 2 extra reps.
Your shoulders are loaded under tension the whole time, that's hurting your rep count.
I guess it really doesn't matter all things being equal. If you're getting stronger then you're getting stronger, regardless of the numbers.

I know it doesn't look like it, but I am getting a full lockout on each of those presses. As for moving my head forward, and getting under it, I need a total shoulder replacement so There are some aspects of the movement that I just can't do. That is also why I don't go up over 135. I usually keep it around 115 to 125. I am just trying not to lose ground. Once I get my house built, I'm going under the knife.
