270 or 370 for your top deadlift?

    Either way, solid lifting.

Yeah i corrected that. 370 for a single. Im trying to work my way up. I know the 5's are the bread and butter but i wanted to pull something just a little heavier for that confidence builder.

Big believer in singles here. Fives for stamina, singles for strength.

Only had time for squats today, before heading to a family event.

    SSB Squats 45x5x2
    135x5
    185x3
    225x2
280x5x3. That was challenging. Getting hard. Felt a lot of stress in my repaired knee and I realized that I havn't had any pain or stress there in a while, It used to feel like it was going to explode. I'm still learning to squat with this bar. For some reason now that it's getting heavy for me, the balancing part is harder too,

Farm work., Every damned plant that used to exist on this mountain is trying to come back, Pulling mountain laurel and scrub pine and other resurgent brush and trees took up a couple hours of my day. Think heavy volume deadlifts.

When I woke up this morning I felt it. Took me half an hour to feel like I wasn't crippled.

    SSB squats
    45x5x3
    135x5
    185x3
    235x2
    290x5 (5th rep was high), 5 , 5
    290x3. 290x5 is a PR.....but I only got two good sets

    bench press
    45x10, 15
    95x5
    135x5
    155x3
    175x2
    185x5,5,5

    power clean
    45x5,5
    95x3
115x3,3,3,3,3. shoulder hurt the whole time.

editing this to point out that 285 felt pretty good two days ago. I expected 290 to go well. It felt like a mountain. The whole thing sucked but I did it anyway.
