Dr told me today's I need a shoulder replacement. I'm pissed. doing research and looking for options that will allow me to stay active.

Everyone has issues to deal with. I will deal with it and figure out what I am able to do afterward. It just comes at a really bad time, but I don't know how there could be a time that isn't bad for something like that. Perspective is important. There are lots of people fighting for their lives. I'm trying to figure out how to keep lifting weights.

The hits keep coming. Last night I got under the bar and worked up to 300. Second set of 5 I blew out my adductor on the 5th rep. I have it on tape. It's a good time., Felt it tear from back to front. Went to the DR today's and had xray done and have an MRI scheduled for Wednesday, 1 week from today. The Dr is hopeful that what happened was tearing of scar tissue from a previous pull about 5 years ago. I am going to procede with Starr protocol as though that is the situation. Since I can barely do a 1/4 squat with body weight right now I don't think I will be working up to too much weight before the MRI. I am not a genetic freak. I am not a "master's athlete". I am just a 51 year old guy training for strength and health. I will get thru this disappointment and keep moving forward. I also am glad that I insisted on having spotter arms on the new squat stand that I bought, because they've saved my life. I was at the bottom of the lift and everything just collapsed and it would have crushed my neck and spine.
