Just got off or IM with my nephew, who's in high school and also got a concussion, similar dumb circumstances. (tripped over a band instrument) He has a concussion history though. And he was having trouble sleeping.

We discussed getting better sleep. He's gonna try the Pzizz app, which I've recently started using. It has a 7 day free trial... which may be all you need. I find the "nap mode" very powerful.
I have a lot of my own experience with "head trauma" but the experience of these boards on recovery is far better than any of the advice I ever got. I think the Pzizz app is nothing more than a series of sounds and music with a overlay of guided imagery / relaxation guidance. It will work for some, and not others. Worth a shot.

Lifting, good nutrition and good sleep. That is my schedule. Some of us need gimmicks though. LOL.

    Good luck.

Cheesepuff, I hope your nephew starts feeling better. It can be really rough to recover.
My daughter is back innschool and doing pretty well. The boy who grabbed her foot used to be her boyfriend. They still hang out together at lunch and are good friends. He feels terrible about her falling. High school kids do some dumb stuff.
