    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    I should have done 285 or 295 but I had a fuck you attitude that day. So I did 315. It was near limit. We will see what happens next time. It was hook grip double overhand and rep 4 and 5 were sketchy. I will be using my figure 8 straps next time for the top set.

    It went up so clearly the right choice! Pondering the use of straps. Sort of a hard pass on hook grip.
    Last time I did my pr for reps I used reverse grip. Started to lose my grip on last rep.
    Thanks, I guess they're worth another try.

    I'm heavier than you. Perhaps older... you might be surprise what I'd trade to have those lifts.

    The presses and sandbag carry are because I was training with my wife. The weather was awesome.
    Today was ssb squat 265x3x5. Deadlift 320x5.
