Hike was great. But it was a little long for my fitness level. I finally recovered enough to get under the bar this morning.
    SSB squat 205 x 3 x 5
dead lift to 225 x 5. My lower back was feeling a little tweaky, so I took it easy.
Might try to slip into the company gym later today and do some incline dumbbell presses

Company gum. Incline dumbbell press 50x3x8
    Cable rows 100x3x8.
    Bicep and tricep stuff.
I am far diminished from where I was 2 years ago. Going to take my time and try to get back some of it.

as the decades slip by it's so hard to maintain, let alone add to our strength. Listen to one of my favorite songs: Toby Keith "I ain't as good as I once was" lol

Yep. Yesterday while on the 2.6 mile uphill hike in to clear a trail from a trail, our 73yo companion was leading the way, stringing my wife and I behind as he always does. But he's stopping a bit more frequently than he has in the past. Naturally he complained about not being as fast as he was, at which we had a laugh, because he has always left us chasing.

    There's inspiration all around.

I agree about Carson’s log. There used to be a guy on here called “Oldster”. Have not seen anything from him in years. Was strong old guy who I hope is still kicking around.
