Your lifting quite a bit for such a light fellow. You must have been pretty skinny at 5'10" and 130 lbs. Keeping eating and lifting. You may wind up with very good numbers.
Hi all,
I'm Shay, longtime lurker, starting a log here after recently beginning starting strength. After about 15 years of semi-pro and D1 tennis , I started lifting a few years ago but got caught in some ED and dropped down to 130lbs and finally got more serious in the past year or so. The current plan is to run the linear progress to its max Looking forward to what the future holds for me
Stats:
Age 25
Height ~5'10"
Weight ~165 lbs
PRs (all done a week ago).
Squat 140kg/308lbs
Bench 100kg/220lbs (meet PR 315)
Deadlift 155kg/340lbs (meet PR 500)
Press 55kg (105lbs)X5
Front squat 90kg (200lbs)X3
Clean Have yet to learn them properly... Intensely trying
Showtime, let's get it

Hey Guys so I kept going on the NLP
Today was a workout A
This is how it went down
Squat 3*5@105kg(230lb)
Press 3*5@50(110lb)
I am still doing DL every session until I perfect my technique on the Clean
DL 1X5@125(275)
After that I played around with muscle ups (Trying to learn it)
And tried to get the Clean right
Here are videos of my press and cleans
I know the angles are not good for videos but I had no-one to ask so I tried my best on my own
For the Cleans
For the Press
Thanks
Shay
Bonjour Bonjour
Still on the NLP
This is what is consisted of
Squat 110kg 3X5
Press 50kg 3X6
Deadlift 125kg 3X6
Trying to go for sets of 6with better technique rather than making jumps of 5kg as i am waiting for the 1.25kg plates i ordered
I have been posting on the FB group videos of my technique (which is far from perfect but slowly getting better) and getting hammered as an answer
Pretty surprise as I thought the community was there for support and getting better
There is a lot of constructive criticism which is great but comments such as "it sucks" or "it's all wrong" are not really constructive to me
Anyways if you care for them here are the videos
I also did accessories trying to improve cleans mostly technique
and 4sets of chin ups
Hey guys
Another day in the NLP
his is how it went down
Squat 3*5@115kg
BP 3*5@90kg
I am still doing DL every session and worked up to
DL 1X5@135
After that I got a couples sets of chin ups and dips in before to call it the day
Still on the NLP
Thing are starting to get a little tougher here haha
I had squat 3*5@120kg
OHP 3*5@ 55kg
DL 1X5 @140kg
I wasnt too happy about the session as I felt that I had to grind the reps(which is fine) but i didn't feel like the form stayed the course
More than that my bicep forearm and elbow on the right side were killing me today after each set over 90kg on the squat
It carried over a little on the other two main lifts but not too much
I was told it was due to my set up but if you h=guys wanna chip in im open to advices
