    Went out of town over the weekend. Back at it today.

    I noticed you switched to a heavy set, into a couple of back off sets. You feel like those and the close-grip continuing to drive the bench? I need to likely switch something up in the next few weeks myself.

    Yea, for squats I'm doing one top set and 2 backoffs.

    Am doing the barbell medicine advanced novice modification for presses/bench. A quick google search will find it if you're interested. Basically more overall volume on the bench/press, alternating between a top single + backoffs and lighter volume day. I feel like close grip has more carryover to the press.

    Don't think I have much LP left.

    Squats 300 x 5, 275 x 5 x 2
    Deadlift 275 x 5 x 2

    Started feeling sick on Thursday, trained friday 4/27 and felt terrible, cut session short. Sick all weekend with the shits and minimal food. Felt a lil better on Tuesday 5/1 and trained, got gassed quick and cut session short. Feeling normal today.

    Had to go on the road for a week for work. Did some bro workouts in the hotel gyms but nothing worth logging.
