    SQ-80% 133.5 kg (293.7) 3 x 5
    P 68kg (149.6) 5, 5, 4g
    DL 172 kg (378.4)

Second press set was pretty tough and rep 4 of set three was already a grind. The "grind rep" of set 3 barely got past my nose.

Really happy to get past 170 kg on deadlift. Having made it to 170 kg on three occasions and being unwell on Monday, I was worried about getting stuck. I reckon it came off the floor easier than 168 did last week.

I was quite nervous going into this. Felt like I hadn't eaten enough to train, was thinking about work I needed to do over the weekend and 168 just sounds heavy.

Squat ended up a bit better than Monday, no grunting. Bench felt a bit wobbly at the end but bar speed must have been good. Thise two exercises left my arms too far gone to be able to get any chins in.

Two days later and I still have some soreness around the mid-humerus area.

    P 68kg (149.6) 3g, 3g, 4
    DL 173 kg (380.6) 1 x 5

Pretty bad pain in forearms came on during squats. My hands were shaking as I unloaded the bar and set up for pressing.

Presses didn't feel comfortable due to pain but I did better than I thought I could.

Pretty dumb to get distracted and do chin-ups instead of deadlifts. Rounded the sesion out on Saturday morning. Quite pleased with myself to have been featured as the Barbell Logic PR of the week for last week's 172kg DL.

Arms are just not recovering between sessions. This pain is getting me down. Very happy to have the 100 kg on the bench now though.

    SQ-80% 136 kg (299.2) 3 x 5
    P 69kg (151.8) 5, 4, 3+grind
    DL 175 kg (385) 1 x 5

Even on an 80% night, the pain is problematic. Am thinking about getting some elbow sleeves. Maybe a little bit of compression can be a distraction.

Last squat was real slow, but it went back in the hooks. The first work rep of bench is the worst - so much pain shooting through the arms. Just keep fighting.

Really happy to get a couple fives tonight. Should be a good setup for Friday night.

I was shaking all over the place for the last press, but I was able to lock it out.

Managed to have a pretty restful weekend - even got to have a nap yesterday afternoon. I've ordered some elbow sleeves. I don't expect them to brace the tendons in my elbow, but they should provide some sensory feedback to help focus on reducing torque through the elbows.

    BP 102kg (224.4) 3 x 5
    CU 5, 5, 5, 4

Elbow sleeves arrived. Lifted with a lot less pain. I'm confident about wearing them for Friday.

I seriously considered making the bench 102.5 tonight to get over the 225 lb mark, but ultimately decided to do the f@({!^$ program, which means waiting for Monday to get into the 225 club.

Last set of chins were still pretty fast. I consider myself fully recovered in the abdominal department.
