Only 3.5 hours of sleep last night, so I'm not sure if my press has truly stalled or if I was just exhausted (Form sucked). Felt terrible

My strep throat came back and now I'm on a second round of more intense antibiotics. I am exhauuussteed all the time. Happy that I did as well today as I did.

Hey man, nice consistency and solid numbers all the way around.

Just curious as to why you jumped straight to advanced novice. You've had some really high lifts in the past and advanced novice only has you pulling deads and doing cleans every 5th session. I would've thought you could've started on standard LP and made a bunch of jumps on the deads and squats much more quickly, even with doing 5lb jumps, especially with the history of being really damn strong in your heavy singles. Totally not judging or coming down on you so I hope I'm not coming across that way.

Looking forward to checking more of your future logs.

I know 315x5x3 isn't the strongest squat in the world, but it has been so long since I've done this kind of weight and it felt amazing to be doing it again. It feels like a real accomplishment to me, especially since I was looking back at old footage of my PR 465 squat...and it sucked. It almost feels like I'm breaking new ground to be honest.

I did something like this around 295 lbs too. I doubt it was any better form, but whatever. Onwards and upwards haha

Hey, JT! Thanks for the kind words!

Honestly, I jumped to Advanced Novice based on bad reasoning and incomplete knowledge lol -- oops. I'll be changing my pull to alternating PC and Deadlift because I think I can still make progress doing them more frequently. I would definitely do things much differently if I could turn back time.

No, of course not! I'd like to think I'm the kind of person who can take constructive criticism well (It only makes you better imo) It's funny you should bring up that point because I was thinking that exact same thing. Since I've started I've read much further into PP and I've been listening to BB logic and have realized I did so much wrong. Can't help but to kind of face palm a bit with how I handled my programming, but oh well. If you see me doing something weird in the future feel free to question it/correct me haha.

There's something so satisfying about the power clean. The feeling of accomplishment when it lands in the rack position is such a fulfilling feeling. PC is definitely my favorite exercise atm.

Dude you hit the nail on the head. I just started doing power cleans last week and was a bit apprehensive since I had not done them in over 25 years. Now I cant wait for them to come through the rotation.
