Late '60s white boy blues from central IA. I wonder what percentage of teenagers today spend 1 to 3 hrs/day practicing an instrument.

    Music
    Lucifer's Friend: Lucifer's Friend (1970)

Hints of Sabbath and Rainbow w/ Dio. Vocalist John Lawton and RJD have some similarities. Lawton went to Uriah Heep for a bit in the late '70's, then back to Lucifer's Friend in the early 80's. I don't know how the hell 1981's Mean Machine did not hit big. Nice mix of NWOBHM and the early '80 LA scene.

    Thanks Jerry.

It is you guys with (almost) a generation on me still plugging away that are the ones always "looking good." Hope to keep at it like you, carson & Hurling.

Not as smooth as last week. Sometimes 2.5 lbs is a lot.

S3: best groove of top sets
S4&5: too lazy to take a big wheel off and load back up to 222.5. Worked out OK.

    Leslie's Motel: Dirty Sheets

Interesting story. This album was recorded in 1972, shelved and finally released in 2009. Apparently they toured extensively, opened for many big names and didn't break up until 1976.

Influenced by an early incarnation of the Allman Brothers and "southern rock" of the time period.

Found Leslie's Motel on YouTube. Pretty good, a little " jazzier " then The Bothers or Mule, but sure great music. Thanks Mike.
