Planned to get back on track w/ 170x1x7. First loaded bar to 180 and noticed error right before establishing grip. When 170 was a struggle, meant to take the 2.5's off and deload to 165. Planned to take what I Could get for singles and/or doubles to reach 7 reps. Took the 2.5 off the right side, pulled the 5 and 2.5 off the left and put the 2.5 back on. Noticed the error when stripping the weights after the 4th set.
Temperature was 3F in the Stables. Fortunately the wind was from a favorable direction and mostly blocked from blowing across the platform. Had to sweep snow off the platform and brush some off the bar. Left a nice layer of frost on the center of the bar from my breath.
If not for global warming, I probably would have performed seated press in the Dungeon. The dog and I sat in the running car between worksets.

Press has not gone as planned the last month. Hit all planned sessions, but last V and last 3 I sessions missed the targets. Other than being consistent, the only change was adding some assistance exercises (lte & cgbp). Well.. maybe OD'ing on sugar counts as a change?
Over the weekend, I planned a small reset for volume with a couple of options for intensity. Decided to stick with the previous plan and see how today went. It sucked, but the work was completed. If intensity day goes as scheduled, I'll keep the reset on the back burner.
