Down to -15F last night. Although ambient was 5F (with no wind) at time of lifting, I guess bar was still < 0F. Bar was fucking cold.
Sat in the car between some of the sets.

I believe I lack the concentration to maintain form to complete "heavy" singles.

Barely kept the PR streak alive by getting 1 more set than previous volume session. Hoped to get the 5x5, but at least I did the reps.

Planned to take 5, 4, or 3 on (1st) work set. Would have liked 1x5 and 2 back-offs. Willing to settle for 2x4, or 3x3. Thinking I will just run this out. Move the weight up 2.5 and work with what I get on 1st set.

Got the planned singles. Programmed 165x3x2 as back-offs, but S1R3 wasn't in the cards. Feet and hands frozen, so called off 2nd set and went to the dungeon for:

That bench looks interesting.
SL -
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. If by "interesting" you mean...
a) .. good work.
Thanks.
b) .. those are pathetic numbers for a human male my height and weight.
I agree.
c) .. related to the programming.
I started with Nick Delgadillo's Upper Body programming article. I moved it to a 4-day rotation quickly when I discovered 1) pressing on consecutive days sucked and 2) intensity for press and bench on same day sucked. I've modified as I've failed, but it has worked well for the 2.5 months I have consistently lifted 3 days/wk. I have set some form of PR on every session since mid-December.
