Missed a lift today. Last rep of the last set of my press. I'm not as bummed about the miss as I am about not giving it more effort. The last rep of my second set was a grind, and it set the stage for failure. I went into my third set maybe a little over-amped, my form became loose and I mis-grooved it (the whole set, really). As the video shows, when I know I don't have it, I rack it. I should have fought it for at least a few seconds.

My deadlift was interesting today too. Every other time I've deadlifted, I was certain about the complete extension of my lower back. Today it felt as though I lost some tension and began to round. The video shows a pretty flat back though. Also, I've decided to use the alternate grip on my worksets, and this would be the second session where I've implemented it.

Press got me again. I plan to deload back to ~140 and have another run. Hopefully with more sleep (~6hrs/night currently), I'd like to get to 165 and above (some arbitrary goal I've had for this LP).
Deadlift felt the same as 4/13, but still looked good.

A couple good things happened today. One, I introduced my first light squat day; a welcomed change. And two, I hit a milestone PR on bench today: 225 lbs. I'll begin microloading after this.
