    Hello everybody,

I am going to track this tour through Starting Strength LP here on the boards. Stats:

    • 28 years old
    • Male
    • 6' 1"
    • ~220 lbs

I have ran SSLP before, many moons ago, with good results (60 lbs weight gain [was emaciated], decent lifts). I'm quite de-trained these days but have never given up on the iron.
I am going to give LP another good go, and vow to best my prior numbers.

I've completed my first two workouts, and am starting rather conservatively:

    Monday, January 29
    SQ: 175x5x3
    OHP: 95x5x3
    DL: 205x5

    Wednesday, January 31
    SQ: 180x5x3
    BP: 135x5x3
    DL: 210x5

    OHP: 100x5x3
    DL: 215x5

Getting back into it, I figured I'd have to tidy up my form. Recording one's self is very telling, will continue.

    My analysis:
Overall, I can reduce my violent/rushed movement. Especially at top of DLs. Squats are still light yet. Knees need to find their place and hold it sooner. The bar path in my press isn't vertical. Going to record more angles of this movement. Deadlift could benefit from a more by-the-book setup prior to each rep, and an obvious reduction in the hips-through at the top. If anybody actually reads these logs for fun, feel free to chime in.

DL: Hold it at the top for 1 thousand 1, 1 thousand 2. That will enable the judges, if you do compete, to give you credit for locking out. Welcome.

And a bench press video to round it out. Currently working on camera angles/locations.

Weighed in at 219 this morning. I'm surprised to be losing pounds.
