    I did SS for a while a few years back, and it was great, but things got in the way, I started travelling a lot, etc.
    I'm doing a fresh start. NLP, no power cleans because I don't have a coach, I'm 32, and I don't care. Incorporating a moderate amount of conditioning, because I'm fairly fat right now, as time and recovery allows. Doing the chin-up progressions suggested in Niki Sims' article, "Training the Chin-Up." Training the Chin-Up | Niki Sims

    Workout A
    Squat 3x5
    Press 3x5
    Deadlift 1x5

    Workout B
    Squat 3x5
    Bench Press 3x5

    Chins/Conditioning

    Day 1
    Banded chin-ups 3xAMRAP
    (Prowler 5 sets)

    Day 2
    Barbell curls 3x8-10
    (Prowler 5 sets)

    Day 3
    Chin negatives 6 sets of 2, working up to 5 sets of 3
    Lat pull-down 2x5-8
    (Prowler 5 sets)

    Found that I could eke out a mediocre chin today, so I am switching to the next phase of Niki Sims' chinning protocol, Training the Chin-Up, Pt 2 | Niki Sims
