Squats - 1st work set was pretty slow, but by the 3d squats were feeling pretty good so I did 4 reps on last 2 sets, rather than 3 reps each set as planned.

Tried these out for a alternative to deads for some workouts. The weights were enough to make hamstrings a bit sore the day after.

Lost ground on press, probably b/c it was over a week since I last did it. Bench progress not enough to make up for lack of frequency on Press. Maybe cut out bench?

After a nearly 2-week break from training:

    45x5x3
    70x5
    90x5

    15x15
    35x10x2
    45x5x2
    50x5 55x5
    60x4x5
Rack Pull - appx 3 inches above floor level
    105x5
    120x5
    135x5
    150x4x3
    Chest press machine
    65x5
    55x5

Not too bad, for having been off training for so long. Rack pulls instead of DL because I am in Indiana, where the Y does not have regulation diameter plates under 45 lbs each.

You’ve made great progress in around a year and a half! Congrats.
I’m regards to your post about benching, why are you thinking of cutting it out? Do you have an injury that is aggravated by the bench movements?
My apologies if I missed something you previously mentioned

After a lengthy layoff (life interference), I attempted a re-start on Dec 27th, 2019. I did squats 45x5x2, 65x5, 85x3x5. I made all the reps and it was 40 lbs less than I had been lifting as of early October 2019. BUT I got too sore to go back to gym that week. I won't bother to record my numbers on press or other exercises from that workout. Now it is January 16, 2020, and today I made another re-start attempt. Here are the numbers:

    1-16-20
    SQ

    45x5x2
    65x5x3
    BN
    45x5x3

DB exercises, 10 lbs each hand:
    PR 3 sets of 10
    LTE 3 sets of 10

Will need to work up to doing overhead press with 20KG bar, and put Deadlifts in, over the next few workouts.

    TUES, 2-11-2020
    SQ

    45x5x2
    55x5
    65x5x3
    BN
    45x5x3
Presses and LTEs done with DBs, 10 lbs each hand
    PR
    20x10x3
    LTE
    20x10x3
    DL
    95x5x3
    Rows
    10xx10 each side

Too weak now to press the 20KG bar, so doing DB upper body exercises and bench presses to work up some strength.
Been having trouble getting to the gym, but plan is to do Thurs, Sat, and either Mon OR Tues, depending upon what else is happening early in the week.
